All potential nanny candidates must have the following training or certifications:

• 20 years of age and older
• Minimum Education: High School Diploma/G.E.D
• Phone interview with agency
• Interview one-on-one with agency
• 5 reference verifications with agency
• Reliable transportation
• Proof of transportation insurance
• Legal U.S. citizenship status
• Proof of Social Security Number
• Infant/Child CPR and First Aid Training/Certification (willing to take course within 45 days)
• Willing to keep a daily log

After the Nanny has accepted the position, the candidate will be screened for the following:

• National, state and county screening (Felony and Misdeameanor)
• Driving Record
• Sexual misconduct record
• Social Security Verification

Hourly wages for Nannies in the Triangle area usually range from $8-15 dollars per hour (An example: A nanny who works a 40/hour work week making $10/hour would gross $400). This salary depends on several factors, including the nanny's education, experience, how many children the nanny has cared for, hours of the position and the location of the job. This price range is for live out, full- or part-time nannies.

Summer nannies typically work from the end of May or the beginning of June to mid- to late August.
